Adopt-a-Star Rescue is the greyhound rescue and adoption agency project of The Asher Foundation, a 501(c)3 public charity, operating out of Los Angeles. Adopt-a-Star Rescue focuses on rescuing and placing retired racing greyhounds in homes throughout southern California. While we are based in Los Angeles (Westwood), we work throughout the valleys and beach communities (Malibu, Santa Monica, Venice, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo and others). We have placed more than 200 greyhounds with nearly a 0% turn-back rate due to our unique matching techniques.
